Last week, I had the pleasure of shooting again with my friend, J.D., an actor and model. Regular readers will recognize her from my January blog post, Shooting with an Actor.
J.D. wanted to try some images with big, stretchy sweaters. I was game! We didn’t really have a plan for the pose concepts, rather just to try different looks and see what worked.
I had two lights on the background to make it almost pure white and also provide a bit of wraparound light. There was one big soft box above and just to the left of the camera and a reflector below the frame to bounce a bit of soft light back into her face. This is a flattering lighting setup overall, while still allowing for shading on the right side of her face to add dimension and depth to the images.
OK, are you surely clicking on each image to see it bigger on your screen? It makes a difference – Try it! Thanks as always for your interest in my work.
