As a photographer, my passion is to create unique and appealing images that reveal your personality. I’m inspired to capture something uplifting about the human spirit in all of us – and to make the viewer smile. Bold colors are often a part of my vision.

Meeting and photographing people of all ages is a great blessing for me, as well as terrific fun. I will make the shoot fun for you as well, which is the key to a successful portrait.

Publications and Awards

My photographs have been published in USA Today, New Canaan – Darien Magazine, The Darien Times, and other publications. In the professionally judged Darien Arts Center Show, my work has been awarded prizes in each of the past 6 years (2006-2011) in the color photography category.

Background

Before becoming a professional photographer, I had a completely different career. I worked in the investment management field for 30 years, most of that time as a partner of an investment counsel firm in Greenwich, CT. Then something called me to switch gears.

For the past seven years, I’ve been pursuing my passion for photography. In addition to studying photography at The Silvermine School of Art, I have attended photography workshops around the country and also received private instruction from seasoned photographers whose work I admire. And I’ve been shooting like mad, the best way to learn and grow as a craftsman and as an artist.

In early 2008, I opened a studio in Norwalk, principally to do portrait work.
